Spiraea x arguta Bridal-spray

Zabel

An arching shrub which produces masses of 5-petalled white flowers in early spring, somewhat like those of Cotoneaster or Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna). It is commonly planted for amenity and also as an early flowering shrub in gardens and it persists occasionally as a relic of cultivation. It does not occur naturalised in West Glamorgan.
