Chenopodium glaucum Oak-leaved Goosefoot

L.

A distinctive goosefoot which has much branched, procumbent shoots with narrow, regularly lobed leaves which are soemwhat oak-like. It grows in disturbed, weedy places such as waste ground, tips and particularly in dockland, most commonly near the coast. It is uncommon in West Glamorgan with populations recorded in Swansea Docks and in disturbed ground along Amazon Road.
