Cerastium diffusum Sea Mouse-ear

A prostrate, decumbent or sometimes upright annual mouse-ear with white flowers whose parts are usually in 4s (rarely in 5s). It is a common species of sand dunes and other open sandy habitats but also occurs in dry stony places elsewhere. It is predominantly a coastal species in West Glamorgan where it is a common species on sand dunes. It sometimes occurs in bare stony or gravelly habitats inland.
