Brassica oleracea var. oleracea Wild Cabbage

Brassica oleracea subsp. oleracea, Wild Cabbage, is a wild plant of maritime cliffs, scattered around the British coast. Occasionally, it occurs more casually in waste places and ruderal sites. There is one single record of it from West Glamorgan, made by Tony Lewis in 2000 in Swansea Docks, which appears to have been a casual occurrence. It does not occur on the south Gower cliffs, or elsewhere in West Glamorgan, but it is locally abundant on the limestone cliffs of the Vale of Glamorgan.
