Bidens cernua, Nodding Bur-marigold, is a rayless perennial composite which grows on the margins of ponds, pools and ditches. Its hairy stems produce unstalked, undivided leaves and nodding, rayless inflorescences. There are scattered records of it in West Glamorgan, mostly from Gower, but it is not common and it has disappeared from a number of its former sites.
