(Miller) Asch.
A biennial crucifer, probably native to southern Europe and widely cultivated as a salad in the past. Introduced, or sometimes a garden escape in Britain, it is an uncommon, casual ruderal species of waste places and disturbed ground. It is not as robust as the more common Winter-cress (Barbarea vulgaris) and all the leaves are distinctly pinnatisect. There are scattered records of it in West Glamorgan.
