Asplenium ruta-muraria Wall-rue

Duegredynen y Marian

Linnaeus

A very common, small fern of mortered walls and calcareous scree. The characteristic, rue-like fronds coupled with the distinctive habitat make this fern almost unmistakable. It is ubiquitous and abundant on walls throughout West Glamorgan. It also occurs on the limestone scree and rock faces along the south Gower coast.
