(L.) Zahlbr.
A predominantly coastal species of hard siliceous rocks, but also occurs inland. Records from the recording area all come from the Gower peninsula. The thallus is variable but is typically areolate, Whitish-grey to green-grey, with immersed or raised apothecia, the margins entire or flexose. Discs pinkish to brown, densely grey pruinose.
