(L.) Dumort.
An autoicous, calcifuge leafy liverwort found in many habitats including woodland banks, rotting logs, damp rocks, Sphagnum bogs and fens, often occuring in large mats. It is the most common Pincerwort in Britain with a widespread distribution, but is most common in the west and north. It is common in suitable places throughout West Glamorgan. Sporophytes are common.
