Barbilophozia sudetica Hill Notchwort

(Nees ex Huebener) L. Söderstr., De Roo & Hedd.

Also known as Lophozia sudetica, this is an uncommon dioicous, arctic-montane  leafy liverwort that is found on siliceous scree, boulders and rock faces. It has a western and northern distribution in Britain, but it is rare in the rocky uplands of West Glamorgan. Easy to overlook and misidentify.
