(Hedw.) Mitt.
An uncommon, montane, dioecious, acrocarpous moss of wet rock crevices that raely produces capsules. In Britain it is only found in the uplands and mountains of the north and west. In West Glamorgan it is confined to a few sites in the uplands of Neath Port Talbot, such as Craig y Llyn and on the wet vertical rocks near Scwd Gwladys in the Pyrddin Valley.
