Andreaea rupestris var. rupestris Rough Rockmoss

Hedw.

Andreaea rupestris is similar to Andreaea rothii but the leaves taper gradually to a blunt point and they don't have a nerve. It's an upland species found on acidic rocks with only one record in West Glamorgan from the high plateaux above Craig y Llyn.
