Cotoneaster amoenus Beautiful Cotoneaster

Native to the Yunnan provence of south western China, it was introduced as a garden plant into Britain in 1898. It prefers calcareous soils and most British records are from the southeast. It is rare in West Glamorgan with just one record from the south Gower limestone cliffs.
