Linnaeus
A common perennial saxifrage of damp woodland and shady, wet places in general, including streamsides. It is a sub-oceanic species which is common throughout most of Britain except for the southeast of England. The roundish, bluntly-toothed leaved and yellowish-green flowers are a familar sight in early spring in wet woodlands in much of Wales. It is common and widespread in broadleaved woodland throughout West Glamorgan.
