Scytinium (Leptogium) pulvinatum

(Hoffm.) Otálora

Formerly regarded as a morph of the very similar S. gelatinosum, and like that species it is locally frequent among mosses on a similar range of basic substrates including slag. The thallus lobes have fimbriate margins, which unlike another superficially similar species S. lichenoides, has extensions are flattened, rather than cylindrical isidia.
