Cap Gweog Cylchol

J.E. Lange

Cortinarius trivialis is a rather striking toadstool with a slimy brown cap and distinctive bands of veil remnants on its stem. It is widespread and fairly common in Britain, usually associated with Willow and Birch in wet woodland. In West Glamorgan it is often found on old coal tips where it may occur in small, conspicuous groups.
