Taylor
A yellowish-green, dioicous leafy liverwort which usually grows as small clumps or cushions on the trunks of trees in humid woodlands. It has the appearance of a small form of Plagiochila spinulosa but the leaves look much rounder and their bases hardly run down the stem. It is a hyperoceanic species with an extremely western distribution in Britain and in Wales it is an upland species associated with humid Atlantic woodlands. It is very rare in West Glamorgan with one collection by Sam Bosanquet from Craig y Llyn in 2014. Sporophytes are unknown in Britain.
