E. Pritz. ex Diels
A native of China which has been cultivated in Britain since 1900. There are lots of scattered records throughout Britain, including south Wales and West Glamorgan. It has an erect arching growth form, similar to Cotoneaster franchetii, with which it is easily confused. It is found in waste places, open mosaic habitats, roadsides, railway banks and walls.
