Convolvulus arvensis Field Bindweed

A creeping perennial of rough grassland, waysides and waste places which has arrow-shaped leaves and attractive funnel-shaped, pink flowers in summer. It is widespread and common in Britain where it is sometimes a pernicious weed of cultivated ground. In West Glamorgan it has a predominantly lowland and largely coastal distribution.
