Tufted Sedge, is a species of nutrient-rich fens and mires. It is locally abundant in West Glamorgan where it is found in Crymlyn Fen, Pant y Saes Fen, along the banks of the Tennant Canal near Jersey Marine and in the north of county in the fenland habitats of Gorsllwyn, near the border with Breconshire.
