Carex demissa Common Yellow-sedge

Carex demissa (Carex viridula ssp. oedocarpa), Yellow Sedge, is a very common sedge of acidic or mildly base-rich marsh, wet grassland and ditches. It is very common in West Glamorgan in all of those habitats and is particularly abundant in ditches that occur along forest road in the uplands.
