Campanula medium Canterbury-bells

Canterbury Bells is a large, biennial bellflower species which is native in Italy and southeast France and was first recorded in the wild in Britain in 1870. It is often grown in gardens and occasionally escapes or occurs as a throw-out. It is sometimes recorded in waste places in West Glamorgan but it rarely persists.
