Caltha palustris Marsh-marigold

Caltha palustris, Marsh-marigold (Kingcups), is a plant of wet meadows, marshy grassland, wet areas along streams, rivers and canals and the ground flora of wet alder woodland. It is widespread in all these habitats in West Glamorgan and can be spectacular in flower when it occurs in large populations in swampy alder woodland.
