Linnaeus
A relatively common fern of mortered walls, limestone rock and sand dunes. It has thick, leathery fronds with a triangular outline that bear spore producing structures (sori) on their underside which have a distinctive, long shape. It could be confused with Lanceolate Spleenwort (Asplenium obovatum) which is much less common (See description of that species). It is widespread in West Glamorgan.
