Artemisia vulgaris Mugwort

Artemisia vulgaris, Mugwort, is tall, bushy worwood with a distinctive, but not a strong aromatic smell. The dissected leves are dull green and hairless above but silvery hairy beneath.The flowers are produced in small, egg-shaped heads which have a few yellow disc florets which are only conspicuous when open. It is a common plant of roadsides and rough grassland with a distintive, relatively lowland distribution in West Glamorgan.
