Ramalina fastigiata

(Pers.) Ach.

Ramalina fastigiata is a foliose epiphytic lichen that grows on well-lit, nutrient rich bark. The hard grey-green thallus often bears rounded or flattened apothecia at the ends of its branches. It is not as common as Ramalina farinacea but is widespread in West Glamorgan.

Listed by Alan Orange in Flora of Glamorgan (Wade et al, 1994).
