Porpidia crustulata is a distinctive crustose lichen that occurs commonly on siliceous stones and rocks in the uplands. The white thallus bears lots of small apothecia that are often clustered in groups.
Listed as Huilia crustulata by Alan Orange in Flora of Glamorgan (Wade et al, 1994).
