Caloplaca oasis

Found on limestone, including embedded stones, concrete and is frequently encountered overgrowing Verrucaria baldensis s.l. along the south Gower coast. The thin thallus is yellowish with abundant small (0.2-0.4mm) apothecia with very narrow margins.

Not listed by Alan Orange in Flora of Glamorgan (Wade et al, 1994).
