Caloplaca marmorata

(Bagl.) Jatta

A primary colonist on limestone, embedded stones and sea shells, the thallus is thin and whitish and the small orange-yellow apothecia with prominent margins (transparent when wet) are dispersed. 

Listed under Caloplaca lactea by Alan Orange in Flora of Glamorgan (Wade et al, 1994)
