Arthrorhaphis citrinella Golden Dot Lichen

Arthrorhaphis citrinella produces small clusters of bright yellow squamules that break down into granular clusters of soredia. It grows on thin acid soil or mosses that develop on rock exposures. The few records of the species in the recording area are from the carboniferous sandstones of the upland plateau in Neath Port Talbot.
