(Fr.) P. Karst.
Inocybe sindonia, Beige Fibrecap, is a common species of deciduous and coniferous woodland in Britain. It is frequent in Sitka Spruce forests in West Glamorgan where it sometimes occurs in large numbers. It is a medium-sized Fibrecap with a distictive pale, cement-coloured cap, sometimes described as cafe-au-lait. The cap is usually scaly, particularly in the centre where there is a prominent umbo. It may be a complex of species.
