Inocybe geophylla

Inocybe geophylla is one of the most common Fibrecaps in West Glamorgan. It is a woodland species that occurs in both deciduous and coniferous woodland and sometimes in gardens. It has 2 different colour forms, one which is white (Inocybe geophylla var. geophylla) and one which is lilac (Inocybe geophylla var. lilacina). The white form is commonly encountered in coniferous forests.
