Cortinarius glandicolor

(Fr.) Fr.

Cortinarius glandicolor is very similar to Cortinarius brunneus but it is smaller and grows with Pines (Pinus spp.) Like that species its cap has a sharp umbo and becomes much paler in colour as it dries. The stem often has distinct zonal remnants of veil.
