Fissidens crassipes Fatfoot Pocket-moss

Wilson ex Bruch, Schimp. & W.Guembel

An aquatic or subaquatic, dioicous or autoicous Pocket-moss with bordered leaves. It occurs on rocks or tree roots along streams which are usually flooded in winter. It is uncommon in Wales but probably under recorded. It is occasional in West Glamorgan. Sporophyte capsules are frequent.
