(Lindb.) Warnst.
An extremely rare, Suboceanic Threadwort in Britain with very few records, mostly in Cornwall where it grows in low turf on copper mine spoil. It was discovered by BS on nutrient-poor, disturbed, mildly acid soils of abandoned footings in a field near Crofty in north Gower in 2018. This was the first record of this species in Wales. More recently, Matt Sutton has discovered some colonies in Pembrokeshire. The presence of shallowly lobed perianth bracts and sharply angled gemmae are key identification features of this tiny liverwort.
